Luke has been a building businesses since 1974. From a Automotive Accessories & Graphics installation company in the late 70's (Trim Systems) in Southern California, to a regional Manufacturers Rep Agency in the 1980's, to most recently,a large Sign & Graphic Design Company (Benchmark, Inc) that he sold in 2013. Luke, and wife Cyndy, fell in love with the sport of hockey in 2005, when their 10 yr old son Derek started playing. They now look forward to owning the ICEHAWKS, and in helping other young men pursue their hockey dreams.

Brian enters his first season with the Icehawks with high expectations. Moon has previously coached eight years in the NPHL. Moon previously coached the Coeur d'Alene Lakers in the NPHL. In those eight he focused on player development. With the Icehawks he will continue to focus on player development and give players an opportunity to play at the next level.

I grew up in Billings, Montana and was introduced to hockey at a very young age, by my dad. My dad had a passion for the game that was contagious. I grew from enjoying the sport, because my dad did, to loving the sport because I understood the game. This exposure eventually led me to, meeting Brian.We have 2 girls, that have also developed a passion for the game, by their dad. In the last 19 years, hockey has remained a way of life for us, and our family. I have watched Brian evolve from a player to a coach, and have always been inspired by the way, he relates his love and experience of the game, in a way, that not only builds a player's development  on the ice, but who they are off the ice. It is this passion that I am honored and privileged, to partner with Brian and the Griffin's, to provide an organization for these athletes, to grow and achieve success.

This is Tysen's first year on the bench as Head Coach at the junior level. Tysen brings a variety of junior hockey experience and coaching background. Last season he was the head coach for the Spokane Jr. Chiefs Bantam Tier II. Prior to that, the spent two seasons in Minnesota assisting with the Granite City Lumberjacks where they won the NA3HL National Championship in 2012. He coached the Spokane Jr. Chiefs U16 AA team in 2010 where they finished fifth at the USA National Tournament. While still playing his own junior hockey career, he was the hockey director and coach of the International Selects 94' AAA spring hockey team from 2005-2011.

Tysen has been a professional skating instructor for Robby Glantz Power Skating since 2009. He has worked with all ages of players in the United States, Canada and Europe, ranging from youth to clients currently in the NHL.

We have been involved with the Hockey community for the past15 seasons as it all started with our son Josh, aka Fish, beginning to skate & play at the age of 4. Our involvement to the Hockey community ranges from Coaching for SAYHA, Assistant Coaching for SAYHA, Tournament Directors for SAYHA, Volunteering for SAYHA year-end Ceremonies and being supportive roles in various ways to all teams we have directly been involved with. Being Billet Coordinators for the Icehawks is something we are passionate about as Josh is billeted in MN and we understand the needs for the players. We want to make the experience of Junior Hockey while playing away from home be the best it can with a host family that will provide support and encouragement, family time.....an environment of "home". We are happy to be part of the Icehawk family and look forward to getting to know more about the players, families and our amazing fans!

Sara Griffin is from Coeur D Alene Idaho, and is currently finishing up her degree in Communications at the local College. After Sara graduated from her first 2 years of College she moved to South Carolina and then proceeded to move over to Europe for 9 months to pursue her love of traveling and to seek God through a Bible School called Bodenseehof. Saras love for Hockey and for watching her younger brother play has never waivered and is excited to be in charge of the Social Media and Website for this first year of the ICEHAWKS. She hopes to finish her degree and move back to Europe for a period to see what else she can do.

I Grew up in Denver,  Played for Brian Moon in the NPHL with the Coeur D' Alene Lakers, the second year being named captain. President of Colorado Jr.  Eagles youth hockey program, and assistant coach for the Columbine Rebel high school varsity hockey team. Get to experience  first hand all the talent and potential that these young players are producing in all Colorado hockey programs.
